What bands currently inspire you? For those new to your band, how would you describe your sound?

MelodyInHeart: All of us have different bands that inspire us we all just love music so much we're just thankful we can be part of such a wonderful thing and try to make music of our own

​

 

For someone that’s never listened to your band before, what’s the best song to start with?

​

MelodyInHeart: We would say "Hurricane", "Luv", or "All Of My". We're going to have more music soon though!

 

Bury Mia: We at Bury Mia are very big fans of 'All Of My", tis' a truly inspired song

​

 

What projects were each band member in before this one?

​

MelodyInHeart: Aaron, Vanity, and I used to be in Larissa Vienna and The Strange and Ryan is also playing in ElectroBolts and is in Squid Gang as well.

​

How did this band get started?

​

MelodyInHeart: It used to be just Nick playing these songs acoustically. Then, Nick asked all of us if we wanted to bring these songs too life and here we are still rocking out, trying our best to make music, and help anyone who needs help along the way.

 

Bury Mia: We need help! Oh not the mental health kind, got it.

What’s the origin of your band name?

​

MelodyInHeart: We all have a "Melody" inside of us and what's melody without the heart? We always say, “Our name is MelodyInHeart because the melody lives inside of you."

​

 

Are there any repeated topics or themes in your songs?

​

MelodyInHeart: We talk about love, trust, broken hearts, broken homes. It's been a goal of ours to try and write some happier, more upbeat material lol

​

What do you do to prepare for a show?

​

MelodyInHeart: We usually eat Oreos, stretch, hang out with everyone at the show, and warm up listening to some Cher or Miley Cyrus lol

​

What has been your favorite show so far?

​

MelodyInHeart: We have loved every show we've played so far. The two shows that stick out are when we played with Heart Avail, Sharone and the Wind, and Shattered Halo last year in June and last year in August when we played with Elevaded, Bury Mia, and Sadboi Smiley at the Tennyson Tap.

What are you currently working on? Any new albums, videos, shows or anything else that you’d like to talk about?

​

MelodyInHeart: We have all of the above we are working on. Throughout the year we will be releasing more content and playing more shows. Hopefully we can catch some of yall at one!

If your band was a Pokémon, which Pokémon would it be?

​

MelodyInHeart: We would be Gengar, probably lol. Nick specifically Mr. Mime lol

Bury Mia: From the PokeDex "Under a full moon, this Pokémon likes to mimic the shadows of people and laugh at their fright." Intense!

For each band member, what is your spirit animal?

​

MelodyInHeart:  Our spirit animal is Stone Cold Steve Austin

Aaron- Whiskey and Ginger
Alexis - Tequila with Lime
Ryan - Moscow Mules
Nick - Capri Sun with Vodka
